Laser Hair Removal With Lutronic Clarity II

Remove unwanted hair semi-permanently (as some of our patients may benefit from periodic touch-up treatments). Introducing Cynosure Lutronic Clarity II, the very best Hair Removal Laser available combining the best hair removing wavelengths of Alexandrite and MultiPlex™ dual wavelength technology.

By sequentially emitting dual wavelengths, Lutronic Clarity II provides safer and more effective treatments than single-wavelength systems. Therefore, Lutronic Clarity II is arguably the most efficacious and safest hair removal laser available in California. Leg Vein Treatments With Lutronic Clarity II

FRACTIONAL CO2 LASER RESURFACING

With his Electrical Engineering undergraduate background at UC Berkeley and understanding of the laser optics, Dr. William Ting has mastered the subtleties of cosmetic and therapeutic lasers, particularly Fractional CO2 laser, enabling him to expertly deliver the most optimal resurfacing for patients who need to reverse years of photoaging and acne scarring. In the past 4 years, Dr. Ting has performed more close to five hundred cases of fractional CO2 laser resurfacing, many of which are of ethnic skin types.

Consultation is required with both Dr. Ting and one of the patient coordinators to review benefits and steps to be taken to minimize potential complications, pre-op, post-op care as well as the logistics of the procedure. You will have a choice of having either Dr. Ting or Annie Regan, PA-C toperform the Fractional CO2 Laser resurfacing.

IPL – Photo Facial Rejuvenation using Cynosure XPL

IPL (stands for intense pulse light laser) treats redness, irregular pigmentation, fine wrinkles and large pores. IPL works great for face, neck, chest, hands and even arms. We use the industry-leading Cynosure XPL with built-in Zimmer SmartCool Technology.

We recommend a series of 3-6 treatments for best results. Restrictions on sun exposure and certain topical medications before and after treatment are required.

FACIAL VEIN LASER with VBeam Pulse Dye Laser

Dr. William Ting is an expert laser practitioner utilizing VBeam Pulse Dye Laser, Iridex 532nm Diode, and Spectra Nd:Yag lasers which are the state of the art medical lasers to immediately eradicate facial veins, facial redness, portwine stain, poikiloderma, and angiomas.

Facial veins are brought upon by vasodilation of fine capillaries, most commonly seen in the setting of acne rosacea and sun damage. There are a variety of different triggers, most important of which is sun exposure. Other common exacerbating factors include heat, alcohol, caffeine, spicy foods, hot beverages, etc. Just about anything that brings about prolonged facial flushing may bring back facial veins or telangiectasias even after they have been treated laser therapy. Some families (e.g. Northern Europeans) are more genetically predisposed to have a ‘Celtic Complexion’ along with facial veins.

EXCIMER LASER FOR PSORIASIS AND VITILIGO

The Excimer Laser is an exciting new treatment for psoriasis and vitiligo, to be performed 2x/week. The Excimer Laser is designed to provide fast, effective relief from dry, itchy and unsightly psoriasis lesions. Using a carefully focused beam of laser light delivered through an advanced technology light guide device, the Excimer Laser system can treat psoriasis lesions quickly and effectively. The Excimer Laser concentrates the light only on the psoriasis lesion, allowing the physician to deliver high doses necessary for rapid clearing while minimizing exposure of healthy skin. In addition, Excimer laser is the defacto gold standard for vitiligo therapy. Most patients with vitiligo can appreciate signs of repigmentation typically after 8-9 treatments.
